We are working closely with IceOps, a Maine based company and national leader in ice arena construction and management.
IceOps owns and manages the rink at Thompson’s Point – a proven destination for community fun.
We have arranged a multi-year lease at Brunswick Landing – centrally located in our region.
We will be located on the corner of Admiral Fitch Avenue and Orion Street. The layout is shown below.
Brunswick Landing Arena will be similar to the Arena below but fully enclosed in a significantly larger building. The rink will be refrigerated and equipped with full glass, players benches and the ice painted to scale. Indoor heated locker rooms and a modest size area for viewing will be available. The Curling sheets will be separated by a wall and feature a heated club room with viewing glass to the curling area.
Floor Sports: A place for all seasons
A special sports floor will be installed at ice out in March to allow for lacrosse, soccer, softball, baseball, roller skating or virtually any activity suitable for turf or hard surfaces. Sports floor is a grippy surface that is hard enough to roller skate but forgiving in a fall. It can be installed or removed by hand with volunteers in a matter of hours. Batting cages for baseball and softball can be installed in the curling area when the ice is out.
